This is the real deal. Surgeon said I needed to have shoulder surgery. And I probably still do. However this , also using a heating pad at night, really made a difference. This IR device really works. May the pain for my shoulder way more bearable. Turns off after about 10 minutes, it would be nice if there was a tone, but it still works well. The batteries last a long time; using it two or three times a day, it seems like it lasts all week. I've only used the first setting which is all of them together, non-pulsed. I'm very happy with it and would buy again.
